Real Time and Singularity Announce WLR3 PartnershipInternational software and services company Real Time today announced that it has entered into a partnership with Singularity to deliver a Wholesale Line Rental 3 (WLR3) solution to the UK telecoms market. The new partnership will utilise Real Time’s expertise in the heavily regulated carrier market to integrate the WLR3 solution into customers’ existing order, fulfilment and billing processes, ensuring a smooth transition from WLR2 to WLR3, with associated cost savings and reduced time to market. The solution can be live and ready to process orders within a few weeks, even days, in line with the customer’s business requirements. Real Time has been delivering bespoke and product-based solutions to major UK telcos for more than 10 years. With specific experience in BT Wholesale and Openreach products such as Carrier Pre-Selection (CPS) and Wholesale Line Rental (WLR), Real Time has the expertise to take Singularity’s WLR3 product to UK Communications Providers, including fixed line operators and switchless resellers. Singularity’s WLR3 product, built on its award-winning Business Process Management (BPM) software, provides a componentised solution for UK carriers and communications providers, who must now develop a WLR3 interface to the Openreach EMP platform, following the announcement of the retirement of the WLR2 interface in June 2011. Through the new partnership with Real Time, the Singularity WLR3 solution can now be integrated with Communications Providers’ existing operational and business support systems (OSS/BSS) and processes, resulting in a seamless integration with the full WLR3 product set. Derek Shanks, Telecoms Business Consultant at Real Time, said: “The Singularity WLR3 platform enables us to offer our carrier and reseller customers a cost-effective option for their migration to WLR3, fully integrated with their OSS/BSS and business processes. “This is an exciting opportunity for Real Time and we look forward to working together with Singularity to deliver improvements in operational efficiencies for our respective customer bases.” "We are delighted to be working with Real Time,” said Dr. Robert McGarry, Director of Telecommunications at Singularity. "They have a superb track record of delivering successful projects to world class customers and we look forward to developing a strong long-term relationship with them.”
