THUS selects Real Time for call control solution 04/07/06
THUS plc, one of the UK’s leading telecommunications providers, has employed the services of Real Time Engineering to deliver a new call control solution that allows business customers to configure their own call plans online.
RT-SelfCare has been developed by Real Time to support telecoms operators in the increasingly competitive UK market. The solution can be configured by the operator for individual customers enabling the allocation of service features to a customer on a feature-by-feature basis, or restrict destination telephone numbers to particular types such as UK landline numbers only. THUS is utilising RT-SelfCare to support its Call Control customer base, which includes corporate customers, SMEs and resellers. Call Control is THUS’ NTS service where customers can make use of non-geographic telephone numbers, such as 0800 and 0870, that help businesses demonstrate their national standing, or earn additional revenue from premium rate numbers.
